It may have been chilly outside at Nate and Andrea’s Winter Wedding at the PPL, but it was cozy inside with candlelight and kisses.
What better way to (almost) end our season than a winter wedding at the PPL? We love shooting at the Providence Public Library, it’s the perfect venue for an off season event. It’s so stunning indoors that it doesn’t really matter what’s going on outside!

Bride Time!
Scene Setting
The Providence Public Library is so pretty on it’s own, but ribbons, candles, and mirrors to reflect the candlelight are always a nice addition.
Andrea got ready upstairs with help from her sister and her mother.
This photo cracks me up. Why is one flimsy little piece of fabric always so intimidating?
Andrea is gorgeous from every angle. Love the way her gown falls like a circle at her feet.
How sweet is this reaction from Andrea’s little brother? What a heart warmer!
Andrea’s grandparents are very special to her, and she to them. They’re so proud of their granddaughter! These are the kind of moments we live for!
Andrea’s special first look with dad. It’s hard to keep a dry eye with this family!
Bridal Portraits
Part One – Classic.
Part Two – Stunning.
Part Three – Dramatic.
Groom Time
Watch, cuff-links, bow-tie, – check. Cute dog, – check.
Cute groom, – check. LOL
So handsome! Hubba, hubba, hubby!
Ceremony
The music has started, time to get these two love-birds married. I mean, we’re here for a winter wedding at the PPL, aren’t we?
Nate is so ready!
Andrea’s big entrance with her father. This staircase couldn’t be more perfect for the moment.
The I Do’s.
So happy!
Mr and Mrs!
Right after the ceremony, we popped outside for a hot (cold) second! It was freezing so we only stayed outside for two minutes, but that was long enough to get some stellar portraits!
Love these!
Back inside for family portraits.
The whole family! Family portraits do not have to take a long time, or take away from the cocktail hour. We can keep the combinations very simple. In the end, you need one great shot of each family, and if time allows, one picture of both sides together is a really cool photo to have!
We always send everyone away for a few more photos of the newlyweds. #alonetimewiththesnapgirls
Reception Details
It was looking so warm and inviting in the Ship Room.
But first … the Intros and First Dance!
It’s so fun to get a birds-eye view of the party.
Toasts and Roasts …
Guess which was which? LOL
