Stephanie and Anthony’s wedding at Providence Public Library was like a fun summer day spent with old friends… because it was!
It was also a full on Providence celebration with so many gorgeous iconic locations in Providence!
We photographed Anthony’s sister Joanna’s wedding a while back, so it was a bit of a reunion to be a part of Anthony and Stephanie’s wedding too. We LOVE this couple! They are so warm, funny, and sweet! Anthony keeps us all laughing with his antics and Stephanie is a sweet ray of sunshine. We were so honored to document the start of their married lives!
We started at the Hotel Providence where Stephanie and Anthony were getting ready.
John Orton created the pretty summer bouquets and boutonnieres for the wedding. Peonies and hydrangeas are Stephanie’s favorite flowers.
The ceremony was at the stunning Providence Cathedral.
Anthony is over the moon in love with Stephanie and was completely overcome with emotion when she came down the aisle.
Every girl wants her groom to have this reaction, so so sweet!
Our cute little flower girl, Anthony’s niece, daughter of our former bride Joanna.
Stephanie makes a grand entrance with her father.
Stephanie knew the minute she saw the Cathedral that she wanted to have her wedding there. She and Anthony have taken several trips to Europe and when she first walked into the church she felt she had been transported back to Italy.
Two big moments, the first kiss and leaving the church as husband and wife!
Happiness is… walking out of church hand in hand.
Stephanie and Anthony live in Providence and it was important to them to have that downtown city feeling in their photographs.
We did our best to find a spot for them that screamed, “Providence.”
Check.
Soft feminine dresses and soft summer breezes with the river and the city as our background.
Handsome, classic… the men.
Having a little fun.
A portrait of our gorgeous bride.
Stephanie and Anthony love Providence, they love architecture, they love romance, and they love each other. Can we incorporate all of that into one photograph?
Yes we can.
This is a favorite shot of ours from this season, so much so, we hung a 24×16 inch print in our office.
Stephanie and Anthony- your children are going to want this photo, you both couldn’t look happier, younger, more in love.
Family Portraits upstairs at the Library.
Some of Stephanie’s lovely details. Something Different Cake Couture and John Orton Flowers and Events.
Dinner at the library is in the ship room. I wonder why they call it that? Catering at the Library is by Russell Morin.
Intros!
Funny, heartwarming toasts at dinner.
And they danced the night away… literally!
BEHIND THE SNAPS
Awww! Here we are with four of our favorite all time clients and one little add-on cutie! We’ve loved being a part of this family’s special wedding days. I wish there was another sibling for us to photograph. Drat! I’d say we’d wait for our little flower girl to get married but we will be 100 years old by then!
Fun Fact: Although Trish is going to KILL ME for revealing it. Trish was the photographer at Joanna and Anthony’s aunt’s wedding and Joanna was the flower girl!
We are getting old!!! But looking good… looking good. And still loving our job!
Mariah and Trish,
We are so thankful for and so overjoyed about how perfectly you captured our day. Our wedding day was the most perfect day filled with so much love, and it is so clearly seen in all of our photos. We absolutely love them and will cherish them forever!
