Can you set the bar too high early in your courtship?

“On our second date, he surprised me with a trip to Dubai.” ~ The Bride, speaking of the Groom’s romantic and spontaneous nature.

Now, over the years I’ve overheard a lot of things at weddings (securely ensconced in my position behind the scenes of course), but this one… this one caused me to pause.

Don’t get me wrong, I love my sweet husband to the moon and back, but LADIES, I’d be lying if I didn’t admit it…

for one fleeting moment I thought, “I may have made a tactical error.”

How do you top a second date in Dubai? This vintage inspired Rosecliff  Mansion wedding for starters.

 

 

Irina’s gown was truly stunning. I’ve never seen one quite like it.

 

But then again, Irina is stunning and unique, so naturally her gown should be as well.
