Overheard at a Vintage Inspired Rosecliff Mansion Wedding …

Can you set the bar too high early in your courtship?

“On our second date, he surprised me with a trip to Dubai.” ~ The Bride, speaking of the Groom’s romantic and spontaneous nature.

Now, over the years I’ve overheard a lot of things at weddings (securely ensconced in my position behind the scenes of course), but this one… this one caused me to pause.

Don’t get me wrong, I love my sweet husband to the moon and back, but LADIES, I’d be lying if I didn’t admit it…

for one fleeting moment I thought, “I may have made a tactical error.”

How do you top a second date in Dubai? This vintage inspired Rosecliff  Mansion wedding for starters.

Irina’s gown was truly stunning. I’ve never seen one quite like it.

But then again, Irina is stunning and unique, so naturally her gown should be as well.

Irina and Jan got ready at The Chanler. Love this suite for getting ready photos!

This is a girl who demands to be swept of her feet. She is our kind of girl.

Thoughtful, romantic, and sparkly – three excellent qualities in a gift.

Meanwhile, Jan was relaxing nearby. And why shouldn’t he be? He’s the king of romance. LOL Guess their wedding date… 😉

Mancessorizing.

Leaving for Rosecliff (separately). Irina and Jan didn’t want to see each other before the ceremony. They like big surprises, remember?

Are you loving Irina’s vintage vibe?

She certainly looks like she belongs at Rosecliff Mansion… circa 1945.

Gorgeous art-deco details!

Irina and Jan’s wedding planner was Infinite Events. The florist was Sayles Livingston.

Ceremony site with a stunning water backdrop? Check!

Crazy for this.

Show time!

More like… show stopper time!

Jan an Irina’s good friend married them.

So Dubai on the second date… where’s the honeymoon?!

Time to head our front for some “formal” photos.

But first … Champagne Tower!

The light… I can’t even.

Cutest little bridal party!

Where shall we go for photos? It’s all so good!!!

Alas, eventually we have to quit photoing … but that does mean we start partying!

I’m sorry, but how cute is Erica of Infinite Events in the photo below? She’s so genuinely excited for her clients! Love that!

If ever a dress was made for spinning.. or a hairdo for that matter!

Sweets and the sweet engagement guest book album we created from Irina and Jan’s engagement photos!

We do love a romantic get away and we’re dying to know what adventure awaits them next! Bon Voyage!
