Glamour Galore at Rosecliff Mansion

We knew Lauren had superior style the first time she visited Snap HQ in her smart navy blue and white dress and platform light-pink sneakers.
We knew we’d be in for a treat with her wedding attire too, starting with this vintage kimono for getting ready photos.
Lauren’s gorgeous sister and MOH was nine months pregnant at the wedding. I bet she would have like to have worn her kimono all day! 😉
Lauren had a unique headpiece that her stylist, Studio B Glam Squad, sewed into her hair.

How fitting for this style icon in the making + Democratic lobbyist to get married at the same church as another beloved style and Democratic icon, the incomparable Jackie O?
Meanwhile, Chase (a.k.a. The Kentucky Cutie) was getting his style on too!
FYI, “The Kentucky Cutie” is Lauren’s pet name for her handsome Southern Gentleman and groom to be, Chase.
You may notice Chase’s cuff-links are not Democratic. Yes, things are about to get interesting, as Chase is a Republican lobbyist. Imagine that!
I love that Lauren and Chase’s love is bigger than politics. Let’s all take a page out of the Lauren and Chase book of bipartisan awesomeness.

Course, Jackie-O didn’t have to worry about cell phones. Kind of wish we could go back to that.
Lauren loves traditional, classic, timeless photos. This black and white image ticks all those boxes.
Lauren also loves posed photos!
Her only instructions for Linda and Cloud were to make her look skinny and glowy in the pictures. We got you, girlfriend.
Also on the Lauren wish list – a vintage pink car for photos. Unfortunately, she searched far and wide but could not find one to rent.
So how did this happen then?
As fate would have it, at the very moment Linda and Cloud were taking these portraits on Bellevue Avenue, a vintage pink car came rolling down the street. Lauren waved it down, and the driver (adorable dude pictured below) was thrilled to lend his amazing car for photos with the very excited bride! #beststoryever
Romancing it!
Family photos were also very important to Lauren. She told us her family members are notorious squinters and that there were no good formal photos from her sister’s wedding because everyone had their eyes closed. Linda and Cloud picked out a lovely shady spot so that we would not repeat that blinky family history.
Some impromptu bridal moments …

Fun fact -the awning on the back of Rosecliff used to be pink and white striped. Lauren’s invitations and escort cards were a throwback homage to the awning of the past.

A Rhode Island institution, Scialo’s Bakery created the wedding cake! Chase’s groom’s cake was golf themed.
