Adrianna and Andrew’s New Years Eve Wedding at Belle Mer
There isn’t a couple more suited to throw a raucous New Years Eve Wedding at Belle Mer. We’ve hardly ever met a funnier, zanier, more entertaining pair. We loved getting to know Adrianna and Andrew and helping them pull off their big plans. It started with their idea to incorporate carnivale masks and snowballed from there. Rest assured, they had a few more surprises beyond the masks up their feathered and velveted sleeves!
This wedding was truly a Snap Team concerted effort. Trish and I photographed the first half of the day (getting ready through ceremony) and Linda and Cloud photographed the second half (cocktail hour through midnight)!
Getting Ready
A little champagne toast to start the festivities. Everyone got ready at a suite at Gurney’s Resort.
Adrianna might be the most glamorous girl ever – but, she’s also the silliest, which is a very endearing combination.
Adrianna had Calma Salon on hand for all her bridal beauty needs.
Everyone loves Adrianna. She comes from a great big Italian family, the kind you wish would invite you over for the holidays!
Oh, hello – handsome. Andrew isn’t as out-spoken as Adrianna, but as a more silent partner, he’s willing to go along with her ideas and schemes.
First Look at The Lighthouse
Adrianna and Andrew put a lot of thought into the timing of their day. Taking photos outside (even on December 31st) was really important to them. Adrianna promised she didn’t care how cold it was as long as she could get some Newport views. A first look allowed for photos outside while we still had light to work with. Fortunately, the weather cooperated. It was cold, but not freezing – not too windy, and the light was nice and soft. Perfect!
Touches of Christmas
How cute is the Lighthouse at Gurney’s all decked out for the Holidays? How’s this for Newport views? Such cheer!
Did you know there’s an outdoor skating rink at Gurney’s? We didn’t skate- LOL, though Adrianna probably would of … we just thought this staging area was festive.
Photos at Belle Mer
Next up, we met everyone over at Belle Mer for the rest of the formal photos. But first- a few more of A & A on the sea wall. No shortage of muscles on this guy. 😉
Look at this sky! This day just keeps getting better (and prettier).
Keeping your bride (almost) mud free. 😉
Sparkly beauties and gallant guys.
We did the family photos on the staircase which was decorated beautifully with candles and florals. So festive for a New Years Eve wedding at Belle Mer.
Masked Hotties
Continuing with our theme! Andrew and Adrianna wore dark masks for their save the dates which we photographed during their engagement shoot.
Epic Sunset
We thought the sky was stunning 20 minutes prior, but then this happened …
…
… and kept happening! It was magical.
Ceremony Time
I LOVE this photo. There’s something very paparazzi about it, which is fun. Adrianna looks like she could be famous.
Inside the church, it was full-on Christmas.
Married!
Mr and Mrs!
More surprises! More sparkle!

This shot is so fun! The whole masked gang!
Surprise #3! This one is for Andrew! Adrianna arranged for a little drag show after dinner, compliments of Miss Summer Orlando.
Meant to BEE, Truly.
Hora Time! Poor Andrew, he looks positively terrified.
The Countdown!
It’s not a party until they start firing confetti canons!
Happy New Year!
Who could have known what 2021 would bring!? We certainly had no idea while we were celebrating with these two rock stars. However, I’m happy to report that 2020 was good to Adrianna and Andrew. They welcomed the most beautiful baby boy into their lives. He’s only a few months old, but he’s already as comical as his mom, and as handsome as his dad.
Cheers to 2021 and very warm wishes and good tidings to everyone!
