Marystella and Brian’s Bohlin Wedding
Marystella and Brian were one of the few “full” weddings we had this season. It was touch and go for months while they were in postponement mode. Then, when outdoor venues were allowed fifty guests, they decided to go forward. We’re so glad that they did, their wedding was a bright spot for us in a very bleak summer. They were blessed with beautiful weather which they soooo deserved, and it was a perfect, joyous, love-filled day!
Champagne and Ink created their stunning invitation suite.
Marystella and Brian have a special connection to Newport – they split their time between Newport and New York. They were so excited to be sharing their home away from home with family and friends.
Stoneblossom created the florals.
Marystella got ready at the beautiful new hotel, Hammett Hotel on Hammett Wharf.
Marystella and her adorable niece.
Meanwhile, Brian got ready at their condo.
St. Mary’s details.
So sweet.
Not the easiest church to shoot in, LOTS of restrictions – but we make it happen.
It’s official! Marystella put a ring on it. LOL
Married!
We scooted over to The Elms Mansion for some formal photos.
Stunning.
Strolling 🙂
LOVE this!
That photo above was fabulous sure, but this one is my favorite.
Meet Lola! Can you even stand that smile? We visited this nugget at home before heading to the reception for Marystella and Brian’s Bohlin wedding.
Catching a ride to the reception. LOL.
But wait- there’s more- we were actually catching a ride to the boat launch!
Taking a refreshingly breezy tour around Newport harbor!
Everyone should so this! The sun, the salt air, the blue sky and views! Happy Times!
We had so much fun on our little cruise- plus the wonderful Meg Simone of Meg Simone Wedding Films was with us to document the day on video!
Pulling right up to The Bohlin wedding!
So romantic!
Luscious florals inside the tent.
Cocktail Hour Yummies.
Finally, what everyone dreams of… a gorgeous, golden hour sunset! And, dancing on the dock, of course.
Marystella and Brian’s Bohlin wedding may not look like the wedding they had initially planned, but it was so full of love and fun, I don’t think they noticed or cared.
So happy for these two. So happy they were able to get married on their original date! But most of all, so happy that they managed to stay sane, safe, and healthy while navigating wedding planning during a pandemic. Good things should happen to good people, and Marystella and Brian are the BEST.
