Planning a Blithewold Mini Wedding

Danielle and Joe planned on getting married this summer, but had to reschedule their big celebration to 2021. However, they still wanted to get married in 2020, so they planned a beautiful Blithewold mini wedding! We were so happy to be there for them. With all the disappointment surrounding reschedules and cancellations, it felt amazing to bring a little photo-happiness to such a sweet couple.We’ve been offering complimentary mini-wedding coverage to any of our couples who tie the knot in 2020 and postpone the party to 2021.

Danielle and Co. made their bouquets themselves. They picked the flowers at Young’s Family Farm in Little Compton. I love the addition of their vintage family wedding photos!

 

Hair Heart and Soul Spa and Salon gave Danielle her beautiful bridal hair and makeup. I know our vendor friends in the beauty biz are just as happy to be glamorizing our brides as we are to be snapping them! Danielle looks ah-mazing!

This is one of my favorite photo-ops at Blithewold. When you stand near the groom, you can get his reaction as well as the bride making her way down the stairs. I can already tell that I like this Joe character!

It was important to Danielle to capture beautiful photos at Blithewold on her original date. Talking to her, I got the sense that if we could give her that, it would take a bit of the sting away from having to reschedule. I hope we managed it! It’s the least we can do! #makingdreamscometrue

Cloud said adieu as Danielle and Joe sat down for dinner. With mini-weddings there’s no need to stay later. It’s the perfect petite coverage for a sweet little soiree. I really hope more couples will consider this as an alternative. It’s really wonderful!
