Ashley and Michael had a classic, family-focused Red Lion Inn Barn Wedding. The Red Lion Inn is in Cohassett, MA. The venue is 300 years old! It has a definite old New England vibe, but the atmosphere is also homey and rustic. The feel is festive and welcoming. I’m sure that’s what Ashley and Mike were going for, as they care so much about their family and friends enjoying themselves. They truly made their wedding day about everyone else having a memorable time.
Getting Ready at Home
All the pretty details…
Mother-daughter goals for sure.
Cheers!
Special moments for Ashley and her mom.
Love this photo.
Presents from Michael. So thoughtful!
Bridal Portrait Time
Can’t get enough of these two.
Just havin’ a little bridal twirl sesh… LOL
This bride-ride was a surprise for Ashley!
Michael got ready back at the Red Lion Inn.
He had some amazing gifts for his groomsmen too. How perfect is this? Michael is the best gift-giver ever!
What a cutie! Michael is a micro-brew aficionado!
These guys are all about squeezing in a little fun- they even had time for a quick game of corn-hole!
Time to get serious.
Time to get married!
The ceremony was at St. Paul’s church in Hingham.
Here comes the bride!
Cuties.
I think Ashley’s dad is pretty pleased with his future son-in-law.
Married!
This is the one… #wallworthy. Frame it, pronto!
Ashley and Michael both went to Providence College, but their paths never crossed. After school, he moved to North Boston and she moved to Southie. Ashley jokes that once they met, she slowly started dragging Mike south. I don’t think he minds.
So classic.
The getaway car- so cute, may or may not have hung out of the window for this shot.
Formal Portraits … with Boats 🙂
Proud parents 🙂
When they felt it was time for their parents to meet, Ashley and Mike took both their families to Italy and they all stayed together in a villa. The figured they’d either love each other or hate each other … now they all have a group chat.
Okay , love this one too – #wallworthy #2!
Details for a Red Lion Inn Barn Wedding
Mmmm, limoncello – tasty. Michael and Ashley were going for a “rustic-Italian” vibe with lots of wine and limoncello!
More lemons- love this theme!
I think they’re excited to get the party started.
Oooh, this one is #wallworthy too! Yikes! Too many choices is a good problem to have!
I may have gotten a little carried away with the first- dance photos, there are just so many good ones!
Cheers!
Bottoms up! Saluti!
Party time!
Our signature “end of the evening” pic…
… with a twist and a kiss!
