How to Create a Sparkly, Romantic Wedding at Rosecliff Mansion
Step One: Assemble an A- Team to make your dream a reality.

We do love a custom monogram!
Christie and Co. got ready at the Bayberry Inn which is my favorite B&B in Newport.
Are you ready for a sparkly, romantic wedding at Rosecliff? This beauty is ready!
But first, lounging in our ultra girly getup with a glass of champagne!
Taking robe photos to the next level.
Sparkle, inner and outer.
I can’t imagine a more perfect gown for Christie.
First look with her first fella.
Gah, the light … the sparkles … the forals! It was photo-senses overload!
Popping outside onto the Bayberry’s fabulous porch for a few portraits.
Meanwhile, Joe was getting ready and even adding a little “man-sparkle” to the day.
Classic.
The ceremony was held at gorgeous St Mary’s in Bristol RI.
Christie knows how to make an entrance.
Too sweet!
The I Do’s. Apart from their traditional vows, Christie and Joe also recited personal vows to one another in private. Told you they are romantic.
Sanctuary.
Christie and Joe had a very rough year leading up to their wedding. Joe lost both of his parents and also his sister. Nothing could be stronger than the bond these two have after going through so much heartache. It’s truly inspiring to see them together.
Married!
We snuck back inside the church after the ceremony because Christie really wanted this dramatic photo. You got it, girl.
Donuts and cider for the guests after the ceremony. So thoughtful and great #fallvibes !
Adding a playful denim element to the formal photos!
The light in the park across from the church was so dreamy, we just had to take five minutes for photos!
Then it was off to 40 steps, per Joe’s request!
Good call, Joe.
Sick.
Canoodlers.
Christie was all about her veil. She told us at our meeting months before the wedding that dramatic veil photos were a top priority. Say no more- we’re all about #veillife LOL
Probably my favorite photo. It has the three essential key ingredients for photo magic:
1. Gorgeous Veil
2. Dreamy, Glowy Light
3. Romance
You literally CANNOT go wrong!
Let’s see how this romantic wedding at Rosecliff is coming together …
But first, a few more photos at the back of the property.
Cigar Lounge – more on that later…
Water on water.
More Veil!
The details of this event are off the hook, so much fun to photograph!
This Model A is a family heirloom. Christie said that before she was born, her cousins were all photographed standing around the car. She always wished that she had been included in that photo.
We can do you one better, Christie. XO
When the question is, Champagne Tower?
The answer is, YES!
Christie taking a surreal spin around the ballroom checking on her vision turned reality. What a fabulous moment!
This photo makes me swoon.
Recently a bride asked me how much time we needed to photograph the details of her ballroom. She was thinking a half an hour at the minimum. We probably took all of these photos is ten minutes. You’ve got to snap it quick! Between the candles being lit, the champagne poured, and guests invited in – there’s a very small window to get the photos done.
My favorite thing about this ballroom is this view during the first dance. The chandelier, the ceiling, it’s all so grand.
Special dance with a special guy.
Toasts and Roasts.
Sweet and…
… Smoky, LOL
Romantic, right till the end.
Christie and Joe- this was over WAAAY to soon. Wish we could do it all again. So honored to spend and capture the day with you! XOXO Mariah and Trish
We may have gone a little overboard with the photos, but then again, Christie is a girl who likes things to be a bit “extra.” Her wedding album is no exception! You can see many more of the beautiful details and romantic moments in Trish’s layout, which Christie barely changed. We split it into a two volume set because there were so many must-have photos it would not fit into one album.
