Katie and Andrew must have felt like their Glen Manor Wedding Day would never come as it was three years in the making! They took a few unconventional twists and turns along the way too. Andrew is in the Army, he’s a helicopter pilot {swoon}, so before moving to Germany in 2013, he and Katie planned a small ceremony in Newport so that Katie could accompany Andrew as his wife. A larger wedding and reception was planned for a year later in May of 2014. Unfortunately, the army had other ideas, Andrew was deployed overseas with no guarantee of making it home in time for their big day. As the day drew closer, Katie made the decision to reschedule the day she had been planning and looking forward to for so long. Luckily her beloved Glen Manor {and her beloved Snap Girls} were available on her new date in October of 2015. So we all waited patiently, following along on social media with Katie and Andrew’s adventures in Germany and then a move to Alabama.
We could hardly believe it when the day finally arrived. It was a reunion on so many levels! Katie and Andrew were reunited with friends and family… we were reunited with Katie and Andrew… and we were also reunited with Katie’s whole big wonderful family. We have a soft spot in our hearts for them as we also photographed Katie’s sister Corrie and her husband Shane who have two adorable baby girls. There’s also the patriarch and matriarch of the family, two of the nicest parents you’d ever meet. It was wonderful to see Katie’s father walk his youngest daughter down the aisle and then share an epically funny father daughter dance.
We’re so happy to have {finally} shared this super special day with Katie and Andrew!

Beautiful!! We have a special soft spot for the lovely snap! girls as well – we remember when you told us “choose the people you want to have around you on your special day”. We could not have asked for two better people to be with us not to mention the gorgeous photos to tell the story of our wedding, treasures to cherish forever.
