There’s windy days and then there’s Julie and Zack’s Castle Hill Wedding Day.
I’ve been to Castle Hill more times then I can count over the years and I’ve never experienced a windier day than this day. To quote George Costanza, “The sea was angry that day my friends!”
It was super important to Julie to have photos with Zack outside on the lawn at Castle Hill and she was ready, willing and able to do anything to make that happen… starting with her hair. She had planned to wear it down {growing it our for two years… ugh} but at the last minute had her fabulous stylist, Jennie Kay create a romantic up-do for her because wearing it down was out of the question for photos. I love Julie’s photo-problem solving and swift decision making! She looked absolutely amazing cascading across the lawn, hand in Zack’s, with the angry sea as a backdrop. It was Julie who had the last laugh though, not the wind or the ocean. She and Jennie Kay were triumphant!
Another extreme of this day… the sweetness of Zack. I’m not sure we’ve seen a more expressive groom. He was so kind and so supportive of Julie the entire day. Julie was a tick emotional about the weather, naturally… but a girl doesn’t have to worry about the storm outside when she’s got a cozy sweetheart at her side like Zack. He literally made everything better. All day I found myself feeling genuinely happy for Julie and thinking, good for her! She’s going to be cherished her entire life.
