Spring NYC Engagement Session

Love is blooming in Central Park…

… and we’re happily snapping it up in New York City

It’s been a pretty gloomy spring here in Rhode Island. In contrast, we were thrilled to find this wonderland when we went to meet Beth and Jason for their spring time NYC engagement session! Moreover, these two were as sunny and warm{hearted} as the weather!

Also, because they live right across from Central Park, all we had to do was saunter over and stroll around. Sauntering, strolling, and snapping… oh my!

Sometimes the engagement session can feel a little awkward. Hence a cocktail before hand is a good idea! Also, infusing a little action into the photos is a good way to warm up.

Who knew Central Park has a waterfall? There’s so much variety in a relatively small area. Do you think yellow cabs and busy streets when you imagine a NYC engagement session or waterfalls? NYC really does have it all!

Beth gave us a tour of her running route. What a beautiful spot to get wedding fit!

Nothing says spring like rolling hills of daffodils!

We teased Beth and Jason about this pose. It felt a little weird for them- but we said, “Good, the more dorky it feels, the better it looks!” That made Beth laugh and, as a result, this is my fave photo from our shoot! Seems like it’s dorky for the win!

Ah, love. Love it. Love these guys! We had such a great time shooting their spring time NYC engagement session. So, now we can’t wait for their wedding this September at Castle Hill Inn with Leila Ryan Events!
