Christina and Christopher were a couple of love birds at their Norman Bird Sanctuary Engagement Session!
Fall is my favorite time for engagement sessions. I love the colors and the clothes; boots, scarves, sweaters, vests in rich tones… you can’t go wrong!
Christina and I brainstormed this fun, festive fall spot for her photos. She really wanted woods and water with an autumn feel. I instantly thought of Norman Bird Sanctuary. It’s a little off the beaten path and has beautiful natural spaces such as open fields and pretty trails. It also happens to be right near the beach!
This spot was made for romance and luckily, these two are very in love. However, what I like most about this photo is that it was hard to get Christina and Christopher to stop laughing long enough to do a serious pose. It was fun to see how much they crack each other up. I think as long as you can laugh together, all the hard parts of a relationship will work themselves out. Sense of humor is one of the best qualities in a love bird!
Christina and Chris had the perfect outfits on for the location! Woodsy chic! How about that pretty light too?!
I’m loving this location. Keep in mind, you do need permission to photograph here and there is a fee involved, but the good thing is you have the property to yourself.
Diamonds in the rough.
We also made a quick trip to the Cliff Walk for a little change of outfit and change of scenery. We thought it would be fun to get a bit of Newport flair.
Such a beautiful fall day! We stopped at Surfers Beach for this photo because the sky was so gorgeous!
Can’t wait for Christina and Christopher’s wedding next September at Salt Water Farm Vineyards! See you love birds soon!
