Laura was teased before she went off to a freshman camping trip at Harvard. She was told she should try to “look nice because she might meet her future husband”. She laughed off the glib advice and then went on her merry way to do just that! In fact, she met Jay {future husband extraordinaire} on that very trip. Friends at first sight with romance to follow! Laura brought along a copy of Pride and Prejudice , {a gift she had given Jay} as a fun prop for their Boston Engagement Session. Watching the long BBC version {a must see if you haven’t} was their first sort-of-date. We had a fantastic time poking around the back alleys {literally} of the Back Bay and taking in the sights at the Boston Public Garden. Laura and Jay are adorable and perfectly matched, much like Darcy and Elizabeth. We can’t wait to photograph their Block Island Wedding next June!
