It’s almost Newport engagement session season! Not that you’d know it with the four Nor’easters we’ve had in the last three weeks. Believe it or not, this cold weather will eventually end and warm days in Newport will return. It can’t come soon enough for these Snappers! We love bopping around Newport with our couples for their engagement sessions and thought you might like to see a few of our favorite spots.

This is the Cliffwalk at the end of Ruggles Ave. It’s a great spot for some dramatic pics of the coastline.

 

This lovely spot is also at the end of Ruggles, just before you reach the entrance for the Cliffwalk.

 

Strolling downtown is always a fun thing to do for the engagement photos. I prefer this spot for engagements over wedding photos because the tourists kind of add to the photos instead of distracting from them.

 

I love the whole Bannister’s Wharf area. Nothing quite says Newport like this spot!

Sometimes the best backgrounds are really just a pop of color.

 

My favorite beach stop is Third Beach, it has everything… ocean, grasses, rickety wooden fences, sailboats. 🙂 It’s perfection.

 

Oh and love… that’s always a nice addition to the photos too!
