We met Diahann and Alexandre on a very steamy August day for their Westerly RI engagement session. This day was very unlike the first day that they met, a bitterly cold day in New York City. It was New Years Eve to be exact. Alexandre’s New Years Resolution? To happen upon a model-esque brunette beauty, fall head over heels for her and eventually make her his wife. Check! Diahann’s New Years resolution? Meet a tall, dark, handsome stranger with a sexy accent and get swept off her feet. Check!

My New Years resolutions were a little less ambitious, lose some weight, exercise more, read more etc. Maybe I should have higher standards!

Diahann chose the village of Watch Hill in Westerly RI for their engagement photos because she grew up summering there. In fact, her grandfather used to paint and repair the carousel horses (see our last photo). Diahann remembers seeing them in her grandfather’s garage when the summer season was over. So sweet.
