Courtney and Stuart got the day that everyone dreams of when they plan a summer wedding in Newport. After I chose the photos for the blog and “jazzed” them {that’s a technical photography term} I realized I hadn’t made any of the photos black and white. I just couldn’t bring myself to strip any of the photos of their gorgeous colors! Courtney and Stu might as well have the perfect day since they are on a perfection kick, all starting with the perfect “how we met” story. Courtney’s parents own a general store in a little college town in New Hampshire. Stuart just so happened to go to that college and frequented the store to stock up on Gatorade and snacks. Courtney’s mom took a liking to him and thought he’d make a nice boyfriend for her lovely daughter. She “subtly” arranged for them to meet and the rest is history. Just goes to show that moms usually know best. Guys, the moral of the story goes like this… “Keep your eyes peeled because even though you are just looking to quench your thirst or have a pre dinner nosh, you never know when you might meet your future wife.”
This wedding had perfect weather but also perfect details. A little shout out to each of the vendors who made it so spectacular:
