Tory and Jay’s Belle Mer Island House was awfully sweet. First, because… this face. Sorry Jay, I am referring to Jackson, the co- best man and cutest beagle that ever happened. He’s looking very dapper in his formal wear. (Oh… and you’re cute too Jay). The second reason this wedding is so sweet is (spoiler alert) the Newport Creamery Truck made an appearance at the reception and was passing out cones and Awful Awfuls to the guests! (If you’re not from RI and you don’t know about Awful Awfuls, well then I feel bad for you because your life is incomplete).
Just the two best men, shooting pool and waiting for the ceremony. Jackson’s got some advice on the next move I think.
Tory got ready at the Hotel Viking. Jennie Kay created her beautiful bridal hair. Sayles Livingston was the florist.
Getting Ready fun.
The moms bonding! How cute!
Jay and his best man Jake, waiting for Tory.
Tory arriving with her dad, they’re so close – it’s very sweet.
Tory making Jay her Mr!
Jay’s cousin met us near the Cliff Walk with Jackson so he could be part of the official family portrait. The cuteness… it’s too much.
After a nice session of puppy kisses we took a stroll down Ruggles Avenue. The light was Fan-Tastic!
Jay told us he envisioned a romantic, dramatic photo of he and Tory with her veil blowing out and the ocean in the background.
No problem-o.
Tory looks like summer in a wedding gown. Stunning!
I’ve looked at Tory and Jay’s photos a whole bunch of times. Somehow I missed this one until I was choosing photos for the blog. I love this real moment, Jay is being so sweet in between posed photos, so romantical.
“Let me brush your luscious golden locks away from your beautiful face my gorgeous bride. Don’t deprive the camera of your beauty!” 🙂
The light … Gah.
The friends … Goals.
Arriving at the Island House and having a little stroll …
Pretty pink details inside …
Relaxation, conversations, killer views and breezes and bocce!
The rents letting loose…
I appreciate a well executed entrance!
Mr and Mrs!
Tory and Jay are such good people, a parent’s dream! I’d be super proud too.
The sun’s going down … so party time!
Some very funny toasts by the MOH and the Best Man. When the sun goes down at Belle Mer, you get this really pretty blue twilight happening in the background.
What did I tell you? It WAS an awfully sweet wedding!
