Amy and Conor chose to do their engagement session at the Ocean House, Watch Hill RI. The Watch Hill area holds special meaning for them both. They live in New York now, but grew up on the same street in RI. Amy told us that when Conor’s family moved in a few doors down her mother said, “There’s a new family down the street with a boy your age, go say hello!” Little did she know she’s be sending little Amy off to meet her future husband. There was plenty of time to get to know one another and Amy and Conor became fast friends. They even went to the prom together but didn’t get around to dating until much later. No sense rushing these things especially if eventually you end up married happily ever after.
We spent a little time at the OH {a great spot despite the gloomy weather}, and had fun snapping it up by the indoor pool. The pool was a serendipitous choice because Conor and Amy were both lifeguards during their summers growing up in RI. The weather cooperated for us for a little while as we made our way over to the beach to finish up our shoot in quintessential RI fashion. Can’t wait for Amy and Conor to finally tie the knot in August at their Dunes Club wedding.
Just beautiful!
