Alyssa and Chris wanted a relaxed casual soiree with a garden feel for their Blithewold wedding. They got exactly what they wished for! The weather was divine, the garden was in full bloom, and Alyssa and Chris set the tone for the day with their sweet, unassuming, happy selves. You can’t help but smile being around them! I challenge anyone to feel grumpy after looking at this post!

Exhibit A… “Getting into the dress.”  Too cute, too funny just like the bride herself!

Rumor has it that it took Chris a bit of time to win Alyssa’s heart. Judging from the sentiments in the card, once won, Alyssa’s heart belongs entirely to him.

Blithewold is an incredible place, when I asked Alyssa where she thought she’d like to do the first look, she agreed … the giant Sequoia was a good spot.

Alyssa and Chris had a great team of vendors, Blackstone Caterers, Stoneblossom, Luke Renchan Entertainment, Robin McAloon makeup, and Exquisite Events.

The father of the bride gets a lot of the glory, but now that we have sons of our own, Trish and I understand what an emotional day it is for the mother of the groom as well.

“We can’t even.” Said the bridesmaids.

Oh Chris! We understand! The girl of your dreams is becoming your wife. It’s a big moment. But look what a sweetie you’ve got, she’s going to take such great care of your big heart.
