We started things off at the adorable Bayberry Inn. We love it there, not only are the rooms beautifully appointed but the porch is perfect for photos. Once the ladies (all sixteen of them) were ready (thanks to Ali Lomazzo on beauty) we had exactly 30 seconds for a group photo and a photo of Cristina on the porch before dashing off to the ceremony. LOL
Cristina and her father rode in a vintage Rolls Royce to the nuptials that took place at the stunning St Mary’s Church in Bristol.
After the ceremony, we headed to The Elms Mansion so Cristina and Al could have a little time to themselves. They’ve got big families and an even bigger bridal party (32 attendants- check out the group photo below at the church)! They’re all very nice of course, but the hours leading up to the ceremony were a bit hectic because of the sheer number of them. Needless to say, that romantic hour alone at The Elms for wedding portraits was gold!
Once we arrived at Belle Mer it was all sunsets and sailboats, the quintessential summer evening in Newport. The ballroom at the Water Salon was sparkling with gorgeous place settings in gold, cream and blush. The breathtaking floral arrangements were done by Stoneblossom and the towering wedding cake was created by Confectionery Designs.
Cristina’s father surprised everyone with a secret fireworks display that topped off the night with lots of Ooohs and Aaahs.
Kahootz band was amazing, everyone danced the night away!
