Michelle and Dave’s “Hurricane Party” at the Bohlin

Batten down the hatches!

Michelle and Dave’s nautical themed wedding at The Bohlin launched right before the arrival of Hurricane Henri. They may have (almost) jinxed themselves with their specialty drink— a Dark and Stormy. Oops!

Luckily, although the hurricane flags were flying in Newport, the wedding itself went off without so much as a raindrop or gust of wind. In fact, we had a sail around the bay! A lovely sunset topped off the already prefect afternoon. The next day was a different story, but we were home safe and sound by the time Henri arrived. We’re so happy for Michelle and Dave. They dodged the deluge and had the gorgeous Newport wedding they planned and deserved.
