Paige and Michael’s September Wedding at SHGC

P + M are such a fun-loving couple, this wedding was as enjoyable in person as it looks in the photos! The only thing at the wedding that could out-sparkle the inside of the tent was Paige’s sparkly smile. She was just so darn excited to become Michael’s Mrs! Can’t say I blame her – Michael is a big soft-spoken sweetheart. Together they are one of those couples that everyone claims as their favorite, including us!

SHGC has fantastic little cottages on the property. Paige and Michael got ready in nearby cottages, but didn’t see each other before the ceremony – no peeking!

Formal Portraits

I must confess- these portraits were a little hectic. The light was leaving, the people were scattered about, and the clock was ticking down. You’d never know! Except maybe for the flower-girl! LOL No worries, this is kind of the norm. We don’t get ruffled – we get it done!

 

 

Bring on the Golden Hour!

The only time we get a little stressed is when we are running out of time to get portraits of our couple. We’d like a good 15 minutes. I think we had about 5 this time, but we did some super-snapping in that 5 minutes!

Reception Details

All the sparkly details inside the gorgeous tent! We had maybe ten minutes to shoot the details and the cocktail hour before the reception started. I (Mariah) tackled snapping every pretty angle.
