We ventured outside our normal Providence, Newport, Boston area for an Essex CT engagement session with Lauren and Chris. L & C live in a town close by and Lauren thought Essex would be a great spot for their shoot. What a treat! Essex is adorable and it happens to be the friendliest place on earth! I can’t tell you how many Essexites waved, smiled, and greeted us as we walked up and down Main Street. Trish and I are used to getting kicked out of everywhere we try to shoot so we couldn’t quite wrap our brains around this friendly town and it’s welcoming inhabitants! Thanks for treating the snappers right Essex!

A good relationship is based on balance. Lauren is petite yet feisty. Chris is tall and gentle.

Balance.

L & C met while working out at the gym. Then they went on an ice cream date.

Lauren balances on stone walls and 4 inch heels too, now that’s  some balance.All of these photos were taken within a few blocks of each other on the Main Street in Essex. This town is like a movie set, it has everything!

Lauren scoped out the town before she asked us to come and visit. She was so excited when we picked all the same spots she had picked out!

How cute with this pic be for a wall portrait?Lauren is a first grade teacher and she’s a HUGE hit with her female students. They all love her stylish wardrobe, especially her shoes!

One student told her, “I knew you were going to be the perfect teacher for me when I saw your shoes!” As I mentioned, Lauren is a bit of a fashionista, and so Chris is required to follow suit. Pun intended.

He endured 3 wardrobe changes right down to the shoes.

Chris is a good sport.

We could have kept shooting around Essex all night, but then the sun decided to set right over this picturesque spot complete with a vintage wooden boat.Like I said, Essex is a movie set and L & C were the stars.And what movie doesn’t need a romantic ending? And, THIS is how a proper leading man ends a movie. It’s a wrap.
