We so loved being a part of Kait and Brian’s Aldrich Mansion wedding. Kait and Brian hold a special place in our hearts. Last year, we pledged to donate the profit from an entire wedding to Operation Smile when we reached our booking goal of 40 weddings. Kait and Brian came along and became our 41st wedding!

With Kait and Brian’s help we were able to fund 17 surgeries for children born with facial deformity such as cleft lip and cleft palette. Amazing! The surgery is nothing short of a miracle for underprivileged children born with this horrible and often fatal condition. It feels good to save one child from that fate, never mind 17!

Trish and I really hoped that #41 would be a special day with a sweet couple and Kait and Brian were all of that and a bag of potato chips. Kate is sassy, glamorous, and caring. Brian is sweet, hilarious, and humble. We loved documenting their important day and walked away knowing we had two new friends for life.

How amazing does Kait look? Vintage Glam with a dash of Cayenne! Hot stuff! Kait got ready at the Nylo Hotel in Warwick which is a very cool, very modern boutique hotel- great for photos! Kait’s gorgeous bouquet was made by Orchids and Blooms.How to style the groom’s details by Trish. I love the man stuff, it’s just so … manly!Brian and Kait heading to the Aldrich Mansion for their first look. I think they’re excited.Brian has great friends, but then again he’s a great friend.As I mentioned, Kait and Brian decided to do a first look to maximize the daylight of an October wedding. Kait also chose to wear her blusher for the first look which we LOVE. I can’t stress that enough… we LOVE it! It’s dramatic, romantic and lovely. Plus what woman doesn’t love to have an air of mystery about her?Aldrich Mansion is an extraordinary venue. The stair case is to die for and the light coming in the windows is heavenly. It always delights! I love this quiet shot of Kait making her way down the stairs to meet Brian. Definitely wall portrait material, it looks like a painting.Just before the first look, such an emotional moment.Another reason the blusher is a great idea… having the groom remove it.Aldrich Mansion’s beautiful lawn and view of the harbor. I love the colors of the trees and the grey sky, it’s so autumnal. Glamorous and Sassy. Even though she just spent an hour doing photos with Brian it’s still a very emotional time.The ladies at Aldrich make sure that Kait and her veil make it down the aisle perfectly. WHY is the bride getting her own cocktail?! Maybe she need some fresh air, a cute moment!Agreed.But it’s not just a little chocolate- it’s a whole room full.
