Grooms Getting Ready
Daniel and John got ready in the same suite. With a little creativity, they managed to get ready without seeing each other!
The First Look
Daniel and John had their first look at Belle Mer. They walked over from their hotel and we set them up to see each other in front of their ceremony site. We were inspired by the symmetry and loved their adorable reaction.
Groom’s Formals
It was a sunny, windy day in Newport, which made for some challenging photography. But not to worry, we always have lots of lighting tricks up our sleeves.
Family and Friends
We create a list of formal photos prior to the wedding. That way, everything runs smoothly on the big day and we don’t miss any VIP’s. You just stand their looking all good and we move the peeps in and out of the pics. Easy Peasy!

Cocktail Hour
Is there a lovelier spot in all of Newport for cocktails with your besties? The food at Belle Mer is to die for, btw.
Sweet Sunsets
Snap Tip: We keep an eye on the sunset to make sure we get some photos during golden hour. It’s wonderful timing when sunset comes right at the end of cocktail hour. If you can plan it that way, do it! That way, your guest can enjoy it too and the reception festivities won’t be interrupted.
The Ballroom
We try to sneak in and get a shot of the ballroom with all of the candles lit before the guests enter. Sometimes we are successful, sometimes they are sneakier than we are. LOL
Party Time!
Intros, First Dance, Toasts, Cake Cutting, and Parent Dances. All of the fun-filled highlights! Speaking of highlights, notice the dynamic lighting? We use off camera flash for all of the formalities.
The Unraveling
Now that the formalities are over, let’s take off those suit jackets and get a little sweaty on the dance floor! We also love to get moody nighttime photos.
