Alex and Steve are gentle, sweet, and lovely people. When choosing the photos for this post I was struck most by the kindness in their hands. From Alex’s embrace during the first look, to Steve’s “thumb’s up” coming down the aisle, to my very favorite photo of them sitting at their sweetheart table listening to the toasts… Steve’s hands resting on Alex’s shoulders, you can tell a lot about relationships by the way a couple lays their hands on each other. What a gift it is to be so treasured and to have the object of your affection cherish you in return. It’s funny that hands can often be the hardest thing to pose in a photo. It seems like the more you ask someone to move them around the more awkward it ends up looking. My second favorite photo happens to be the shot of Alex and her parents right after the getting ready pics. It was just a quick photo we took right before Alex left for the first look. Alex’ parents stood behind her and posed their own hands so sweetly, it says volumes about their little family. Alex and Steve have the best examples of happily ever after in their parents that I am sure they are going to be holding hands happily ever after too.

Highlight of Trish’s day, driving the golf cart of course, although she was scolded for grinding the gears (sorry Todd). Special thanks to Todd at the Garrison for making things run so smoothly, Elderberry Flowers for the lovely arrangements, and the Pastry Garden for the beautiful cake!
