We’re quite pleased with the locations that we picked out for Natalia and Brian’s seaside engagement session in Newport. You might recognize this first location as the Cliff Walk and you’d be correct! This is the area closest to Ruggles Avenue and the Breakers Mansion. New fave! Ruggles Avenue is closed for parking so you might have to get a little “creative” on the side streets. That was no problem for us because Trish loves to break the rules of the road. I’m more of a rule follower but in this case it was worth it!

Don’t forget to look down and up when you are photographing scenic vistas, you don’t want to miss the small stuff!

I call the photo {below} Pretty Toes and Mermaid Scales.

This one has an “end of the earth” kind of feeling to it doesn’t it? Like… “I will love you until the end of the earth!”

Brian and Natalia are very comfortable with each other and had a fun time cracking jokes and gazing into each other eyes on command!

This second location is Third beach, which is actually in Middletown and is my personal favorite beach location. It’s very accessible and easy in the off season but not so much in the summer.  We love to shoot here in the spring and fall. I was once kicked out of here by a man barely wearing pants, but that’s a story for another day.

Brian suggested the pose for the photo {left} and then he executed it perfectly- love him!

A quick change and the mermaid gracefully walks the plank and then is rescued by her hero- cue the romance!

See again you in September Natalia and Brian! Can’t wait for the wedding and more of Brian’s pose suggestions- we will be expecting some creative ones!
