Hannah and Danny had the perfect October day for their Island House Wedding at Belle Mer.
We started our day at the Newport Lofts where H + D were getting ready in side by side lofts. Clients often ask if we know of a great place to stay in Newport. We love the Newport Lofts, not only are they newly constructed, but they’re also situated conveniently on lower Thames Street and there’s tons of room and lots of great natural light for the photographs.
Hannah and the girls had Lynda Williams on hand for their hair and makeup. Pretty Pretty.
Speaking of pretty… a few of Hannah’s details. Sayles Livingston was her florist.
Such a cute shot of all the bridesmaids helping Hannah.
Meanwhile, next door … Danny is getting ready too! The nice thing about having two photographers is that we can cover the bride and the groom simultaneously.
Men having man drinks … classic.
Catching a little downtown-photo flair.
Love this storefront on lower Thames, so fun and Newport-y!
We walked around a little and discovered this pretty little park.
Newport has so much to offer in terms of locations and backgrounds. Mansions and ornate gates are grand and quintessential, but sometimes unexpected anonymous spots like the photo on the right are just perfect. It’s nice to have a little time built in for exploring!
Arriving at the Island House, all of Hannah and Danny’s gorgeous ceremony details are already set up.
Hannah and Danny signed their ketubah upstairs before the vows.
The ceremony was planned in perfect timing with the sunset.
Subtle nautical details inside in navy and white.
The cocktail hour view…
The last bits of sunset before heading into the party.
A sweet first dance.
This was such a fabulous evening for Hannah and Danny’s wedding at the Island House at Belle Mer. I think it’s exactly what every Belle Mer bride and groom would wish for! Cheers to your continued good luck and good fortune Hannah and Danny!
