A Cheerful Sunday Belle Mer Wedding

April 12, 2018

I love Sunday weddings. There’s something very relaxing about a Sunday wedding and it’s a special treat when we get to photograph a Sunday Belle Mer wedding!

It makes me think of that great song by Etta James…

I want a Sunday kind of love
A love to last past Saturday night
And I’d like to know it’s more than love at first sight
And I want a Sunday kind of love

Rachel and Nick are such a sweet couple. They had the perfect cheerful, sunny, Sunday wedding.

Rachel’s dress was so lovely, I love the way it made a rippling circle when she sat down. We took this pretty portrait of her before the ceremony.

Love the sea of blues with the ocean as a backdrop!

Reflection Hair Design created the beautiful beachy updo’s for the ladies.

Rachel’s brother is 6’7″, we were tasked with trying to make him look “not to tall” in all the photos.  Hmmm… He’s even taller than the bridge. LOL.

Such a relaxing palette of soft blues and warm golds!

Nick’s niece did a great job handing out the programs.

Nick waiting patiently for his beautiful bride while the best man gets choked up. LOL.

Rachel fighting the tears too. 🙂

Married!

Those gorgeous floral arrangements were created by Sayles Livingston.

Look at Nick’s adorable face!

So happy together!

The new Mr and Mrs with a breeze kicker. 🙂

Sunday kind of posing… relaxed with friends.

There it is. That’s the best kind of love.

One of my favorites from the day. The photos were done and the cocktail hour was in full swing!

Late afternoon and lovely details in the Water Salon ballroom.

Behind the scenes with Rachel and Nick waiting upstairs to be announced.

The fun begins!

Sweet dance moves.

Cuteness.

I love looking around at everyone enjoying the toasts during the speeches.

Mom appreciation time. Always good to have a little of this at some point in the day!

Sweet hi jinks.

Taking grandpa for a spin… or is it the other way around?

We stole Rachel and Nick for a few end of evening photos. There was more pretty blue to photograph, this time the twilight!

Nick helping his bride into her dancing ‘flops.

No time to spare- back to the dance floor they go!
