I’m always impressed when a couple has more friends in their bridal party then I’d have to invite to my entire wedding! What a fun filled day Katie and Alex planned for their friends and family at their Belle Mer Island House wedding. Just to make sure everyone arrives…an whimsical hand drawn letterpress map in their invitations.

What’s sweeter than when your parents are still in love? Well, when you’re an adult anyway! When your a teenager it’s just embarrassing! When your grown it’s a great example of how to be happy in your marriage.

That’s a lot of men … handsome men at that.

Katie and Alex were married at beautiful St. Mary’s Church. I’m a “big fan” of the veil over the bride’s face.

BEHIND THE SNAPS

Of course it’s fun to have 21 of your closest friends in the bridal party but it can pose a bit of a challenge to wrangle them all. Trish is the absolute BEST at this. I don’t know how she does it, it’s just a natural talent! Fear not if you have a giant bridal party with Trish in charge.

The more people, the more obstacles. Literally. We’re relaxed though. We don’t mind if other people take photos too. Even the randoms! LOL! I always wonder why strangers take photos of our couples. What are they going to do with those pictures exactly? Oh well! The more the merrier. Unless of course they step in front of my shot, that’s when I give them the smack down. Mothers of the bride, best men, flower girls it doesn’t really matter, if they get in the way,  I will smack them down. Just kidding. Kind of.
